Saline Tattoo Removal

Saline Tattoo Removal Treatment

This procedure is for clients with poorly done work by another artist that cannot be corrected by implanting corrective pigments. Pigment removal is sometimes needed to reduce saturation, remove the wrong color, or improve symmetry and shape issues. The process is relatively painless compared to other methods of removal that often cause blistering and scarring. The time involved and cost are also lower than traditional methods.

Saline Tattoo Removal – 2 Sessions

Cost: $400 – 2 hours and up

All natural saline solution is used to lift existing pigment from the skin through osmosis. More sessions may be required depending on saturation level of existing tattoo. Additional sessions are $100.

Saline tattoo removal is a process by which we penetrate the skin with a saline solution (salt + purified water) to break up the tattoo pigment and pull it out of the skin. The procedure is similar to tattooing or microblading but instead of injecting ink underneath the skin, we’re doing the reverse, which is pulling it out. Once your old tattoo is is lightened enough, we can proceed with a new design.

We also use this treatment to remove small traditional tattoos.

Fading or loss of pigment may occur during healing, in fact, it is expected, especially for your first treatment! Do not pick. Allow it to fall off naturally.

Day 1 to 3 Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean
Day 4+

Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.

Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny, if so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.
